Sounds great on 8.1!

Ok. So it appears that all the non-ASIO and non-MME (so KS, WASAPI) cards only support a single sample rate. If you try to open it with another it fails. I'm going to add a list of supported frequencies.

I see this much more with WASPI than I do with KS. Sometime, it will open with KS (no error code) but not work very well. Distorted sound or momentary audio drops. But I do think the added options are a nice addition.

WASAPI appears to indeed only support one frequency. The next build (compiling now) will show that frequency.

But even if frequencies match it doesn't *always* work. I don't know yet why.

Sorry, my harddisk was full during the build... only these 2 succeeded.

CHANGES:
- Added display of supported sample rates (and MME) to sound card selection.

- Delossifier Spectral hole filler CPU load is much higher in 8.23 than in 8.00 - no obvious change in the code. - Wasn't true, slightly optimized it anyway.

OLD CHANGES:
- Removed old WINMM audio card code, replaced by PortAudio.

TODO:
- Adjust buffer size MANUALLY for profanity delay on composite. So allow setting where to read. It's ok for the audio to blip.
- Send out RDS texts
- Fix 31N
- Show low input level warning for inputs below - say - around -9 dB or so. For extended periods. Reason; I hear on a local station here that they probably have a too low input level and they didn;'t know that that was a problemn, but the sound on one of the built-in presets wasn't as consistent as it should be, and some tracks sound muffled probably due to too much noise gating.

Yup I'm seeing stuff like that too. Not sure what it means yet. I'll try tomorrow if I can make it work in other programs with the same settings, to determine if this is a bug in my software or something else.

On my other PC win7 it works ok but win10 still not, I don't know why..
WASAPI looks like not exlusive mode, so other applications can use and play in same time.

WASAPI is fully working on my end now (as long as I use the sample rate that it shows). KS doesn't work at all sample rates that it initially reports should work.

Ok more info now.

Input
I see an error with VAC, if in VAC you set the maximum sample rate lower than 192 kHz it doesn't report that - but it can't open sample rates outside of the specified range. That actually "kinda" makes sense.

The other error I see on inputs is with a card that gave me a BSOD last week when I tried to use it at 192 kHz... so I'm going to ignore that one for now.

Output
WASAPI works fine, all cards work at the sample rate that's displayed.

KS also works fine except that I get a 'Device unavailable' on my normal speakers. The card that gave me a BSOD also acts up.

So?
So basically everything works, I'm ignoring that BSOD card that has issues in all modes (and also with my old implementation, buffers were going empty because input and output speeds didn't match etc. - something is seriously wrong with that card on my system).

The only thing I don't understand yet is why I can't open my speaker output with KS. It might be in use by something else - it's the default audio device and I have my browser and a lot of other programs open.

Idea of WASAPI is hardware direct audio stream, exclusive mode is for that, now in ST when I select WASAPI other applications can send sound and mixing with ST.
