Hm... I did rewrite a lot of code which would fall under 'overhead' here. But I'm not seeing this difference here at all.

What happens if you turn everything off in the preset? Does the overhead go up?

I think on my side , the difference of 1% came from 7.81 to 7.82. This is only according to what i see on the red bars

Ahhh... Found one thing (I think). If the output buffer is completely full, the processing thread is now waiting for it. That wasn't the case before. (And it might be a bad thing - not sure yet).

It had to wait somewhere before as well though. Maybe that was at a different location though.

(What I changed: I'm calling a function FlushSamples now before sending a block of samples, I didn't do that before).

Edit: I just moved the sound card waiting stuff outside of the measurement. This should also fix a problem reported a while ago by DJ_DOGGY where the CPU load was showing 100% constantly when using VLC input. So the value should be normal again. However, if you have hiccups, something is still wrong. Will post a new binary here for testing.

Well the percentage bars are fine now.But i dont now if i only have this problem i still have hiccups..
Moreover im not sure if this is normal but the bar under the buffer on output loses synchronization

Well that at least confirms that the problem is sound card handling related. There were more such issues (that's why I created version 7.82) but apparently not all are solved yet. (There is a reason for the changes though, some things are really better now).

How big are your buffer settings? And are you using ASIO or non-ASIO? (Definitely non-ASIO for one of the outputs, otherwise you wouldn't have this buffer issue).

Sync problems, since version where sync is changed, is not working for me to. At some setups i fix it with more latency, wich was not problem erlier. There, i need to set over 300ms buffer to work as should well. (xp)
Now with 7.82 i am noticing new bad things, like switching bypass on and off, makes audio to stutter few times and after some time audio drops a bit and continues normaly. Even with bypass ON it kinda needs time to 'stabilize'.

- bug: Set "ignore highs" freq using keybord (cursor up) brings cpu usage to max. [red bar]
- not needed: Realized that "AGC gating based on volume before Pre Amp" is not needed at all and makes no difference if we tune/compesate input gain we get same.
* Switch Should be for "Gate Based on Level after AGC"

old stuff:
- 2 decimals for limiter value
- ND input detection
- Advanced clipper gui stuff order change http://i.imgur.com/N1k1ZX8.png (space)
- Add new (fixed) ITU1770 to AGC too. Would be also good to be seen in PEQ graph.
- Add/change 2 and 3 band AGC with crossover similar to "Power bass" crossover.
- If possible to make limiters for high freqs using very fast "limiter speed" (under 1ms already some distortion)
...

@Bojcha: Bypass issue confirmed.

But at latency 40 ms it seems ok here (Win7, non-ASIO). Please note: I added a digit to the number! So 0.0300 is 30 ms, not 300.

Edit: Just fixed the Bypass issue.
