I think it`s a bug behavior for the "Separate stream output" setting. Simple clipper sounds not so bad for a real simple clip for the FM
Point is that this combination of settings makes no sense - if you use FM you kinda *have* to use the Advanced Clipper to get a compliant signal, and then you have this issue.
Fixing this would either increase complexity or increase the CPU load (the whole idea is that the lowest possible number of processing steps are done twice to minimize the effect on the CPU load of having differently processed outputs). And since I don't expect anyone to use this combination of settings, I see no reason to fix it.
