Hello,

today i installed the new Adobe Audition CC. But then i got a problem using the old 32 bit VST Plugins now. The whole application is only 64 bit. I tryed JBridge to use StereoTool, but i always got the error, that the plugin doesn't work.

will you be compile a 64 bit version for future use? in all new versions, all dlls have to be 64 bit.

Good one. I need to setup a 64-bit development environment first though... And I think there's one place left in the code that needs to be fixed to run in 64 bit mode (a year ago there were dozens, I've been cleaning up a lot lately ).

Why not standalone?

...and make sure that it allows the use of the latest compiler and IPP libraries...

64 bit stand alone version is running now. Will build a VST next. But I'm also looking at enabling AVX which - on newer CPU's - should give a considerable drop in CPU usage. I need a newer compiler for it though which until now always gave a big rise in CPU usage. Will have to see where this leads

Ok, I still have to search for a good 64 bit VST host so this is untested:

Edit: Kinda tested it in Reaper and seems to work fine.

It works without any problems in Adobe Audition CC. The performance is much better then in jBridge! I attached a ScreenShot.

What's about more then 2 Channel Support in the Plugin? I think you wrote in the past, that you add multi channel functionality. In the Channel Mixer i see only 2 input channels. Maybe you can also pass-through the sidechain channel
