I have a quick question about limit/compress slider in MB........Where is the truth ?
The truth is inside STS !
Full limit characteristic is "Above Top Limiter=0".
Full compress characteristic is "Above Top Limiter=1".
Though it is even possible to use higher values than 1 (e.g. 1.1, 1.2, etc.).

BETA622-022. No interesting changes, just a general code cleanup. I have removed over 200 kB of obsolete C++ code and moved some functionality to separate classes. Will continue doing this for the next few days. This version should behave identically to the previous version. If you find any bugs, please let me know.

Stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 22-022.exe
DSP (Winamp): http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 22-022.exe
VST: BROKEN
VST no SSE2: BROKEN
Command line: BROKEN

Note: Reasons for this cleanup:
- It will make it easier to perform a GUI redesign
- It will make it easier to generate multiple outputs (for example, an FM output *and* a streaming output with a different Loudness level and different pre-emphasis)
- It will make it easier to write a composite clipper

AGC is rising significantly faster and higher with beta 022. Causing the spike mechanism to clamp down hard. DSP.

Found & fixed! (Should be ok again in the next build).

I'm going to continue with more clean-ups today.

Hell yeah Hans
I knew that this is a little mistake but .. thats why we are here - to help !
I guess we all waiting for next build :)

And ammm..... yeah guess also the new filters requires a CPU time but correct me if I`m wrong - new betas consuming about 10% more CPU ( Athlon II X2 240e) . Anyone notice the same ?

@DJ_DOGGY: With FM output and the new hole protection filters enabled? Then it's 9% on an Intel so that would make sense. Otherwise I expect no difference...

Yes Hans
I use same settings file on all versions to test .When test other/new options and features i test them separately.
So yes with new features there is 10% on AMD which is near the 9% You mentioned. So think that everything is alright and normal .

- Fixed AGC gating issue
- Separated BS412 code from global program logic
- Fixed several RDS issues (Omnia 9). Most importantly, if you now change the RadioText, and there was only a single line of text there (so no / characters) without scrolling or word wrap, the new text will start to be transmitted immediately. And the A/B flag (indicating a new text) works properly now.

great great great Beta 23

Hans, a question.

you can insert in the RDS station name different at different times?
eg. from 10 PM to 04 AM (Radio x) from 04 am to 10 pm (Radio y)

thanks again for your wonderful work, and special praise to Your great mathematical mind.

Best Regards
Luca
