Are you saying that you can hear the difference, or that you see the difference on a spectrum analysis or other software that is monitoring levels?
I'll admit, i am watching scope all the time. Sometimes, my ears refuse to hear something that i don't want to hear.
I have nothing but respect for you, but in my opinion, that is a too technical approach to the situation. I don't think it considers subtle changes in harmonic frequencies and the ability for the ear to pick up on that and compensate. Further, even if the technical analysis was correct, it has been presented as only relevant to a specific subset of users. While that subset may indeed be large and may be providing a lot of revenue, I think there needs to be clarification in the future of all the conditions in producing the issue reported. There is no need in subjecting non-broadcast users to an issue that is exclusive to broadcast users, unless the correction cannot be done by any other means.

So, you work for Mozilla?

I work for nobody. I haven't in almost 3 years. I was fired from a job for something stupid I did. I felt ashamed for a while, then my Dad got sick and I dealt with that, then he died and I dealt with that, and since then I've tried to become a gainfully employed and productive member of society, but I cannot get anyone to respond to me when I apply. I've had recruiters proactively call based on my resume in their database, but then when they ask about what happened with my last job and I tell them, even if it is phrased as a positive learning experience, I never hear from them again.
As for Mozilla, when I said I will check and see if there have been any bug reports or code landings in Aurora or Nightly, I meant I would view the forum at this link:
