Stereo Tool

I've been thinking of some base level (foundational) changes that could really simplify all the settings for those of us who either don't know what all the settings mean or do, or don't have a lot of time to learn. I suggest a global mode change. This would be a setting that would change the whole tool from FM mode to HD/WEB mode. I see this as kind of the same thing changing from expert mode to novice (or whatever the simple modes are called). Changing to HD/WEB mode would gray out and disable any settings that do not apply to that operating mode as well as enable any settings that are applicable. Changing to FM mode, would do the same thing but enable or disable settings that apply to FM operations.

I feel like if this is something Stereo Tool could do, it would keep folks like me out of trouble by messing with things that shouldn't be messed with or adding things that don't really apply, like stokkemask on my web stream, etc...

I guess the only debate we may have is what features belong or do not belong to which mode, but maybe there's a way designed in to allow certain gray area settings through, if desired.

Isn't it so that when you choose Normal Output, all the FM stuff is greyed out?
Stokkemask only applies to the Netherlands and shouldn't be used in USA i guess.

Maybe you should try a simpler mode like 'Simple' or even 'Basic'
