Click to open, opens a blink of an eye and shuts down. Since I installed/executed V7.73_64 for Linux. All previous versions are "contaminated". Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. |

Can you run it on the command line in gdb? So something like this: gdb stereo_tool run and then paste the output here? Thanks... After that, please try this: 1. Make a copy of the file in ~/.stereo_tool.rc 2. Delete the original 3. Try running Stereo Tool again. If it runs fine now, please send me the copied file (that's why I wanted you to copy it). |

I not sure if this is what you want, I used Nemiver. Hm, I had hoped for something more usable... So 0x000000000057c4d0 is the address of the crash? |

I don't know. I have absolutely no knowledge regarding this... The fact that none of the previous versions is working is odd. Something went wrong in my system. |

Do you have the correct version of jackd installed? |

I suppose so. It's the same I used previously running ST, Rivendell, Mixbus, sometimes altogether for screencasting. I'm not aware of any updates affecting Jack... All my AV apps Jack dependent are running fine. |

Ow wait! Quote: Since I installed/executed V7.73_64 for Linux. All previous versions are "contaminated".
So before it worked fine?So did you delete that .rc file??? Doing that basically removes any changes that Stereo Tool made. |

Yes, It the previous versions worked fine. Coincidence or not it stopped working after executing 7.73. All previous versions too. I'm not at my pc at the moment... where should I find/create/delete that .rc file? I'm an almost complete nulity regarding those intricated matters ![]() |

Ah! Ok. Well, PLEASE make a backup first because something almost certainly has to be wrong in it, and if so, it would help me a lot if you can send it to me. Ok. So where to find it? It's in your home directory, and it's called .stereo_tool.rc . (The initial . makes it a hidden file so it could be that you don't see it immediately) |
