Here's version 7.72 BETA. Several bug fixes and some cool new RDS features (support for external RDS encoders). Windows 32 bit: Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 72-001.exe Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 72-001.exe Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 72-001.dll NEW FEATURES - Added UECP for external RDS control - Added external RDS input via sound card 2 (synchronization with pilot etc.) - Dynamic starting and stopping of HTTP server (not more restart needed) 7.71 BUG FIXES: - One person reported that Stereo Tool doesn't start with his old settings. I have the INI file. FIXED - Low latency monitoring had logging enabled!!!!!! Which might explain the crashes. FIXED - Mac VST version reported to still not work in Reaper. - Bojcha reported that Phase Delay works differently at different 'Ignore high frequencies' settings. - Jeroen Platenkamp reported issue with Logged out mode (some screens not hidden) - VST window too small TODO: - Single Frequency Networks: Add option to invert channel - Extreme Hilbert SSB mode is broken, and when not using it can be optimized. Check that this code gets built separately. |

On my machine the VST window was little bigger than 1024x768 , so not too small for me . |

ok, after initial testing the MUX delay functions adequately well. I forgot to mention that I figured out that the phase (0 or pi.0 or 180 deg.) is NOT standardized among exciter manufacturers. One of my pll's was at 0 deg the other was at 180 deg. So a phase reversal switch would be a nice addition, since I had to reverse phase via an audio transformer available (there goes my linearity!) The funny thingy: smart usage of that switch could enable estimating (via proper instrumentation) whether the two analog outputs of a sound card have same frequency response over the spectrum, when combined with the test tone generator. Adding those two channels with zero delay should result to no signal over the entire frequency range. I love the external RDS, Will give it a go the day after tomorrow. |

Dear Hans, you may want to verify SSB stereo in composite clipper, somehow enabling it in 7,71 didn't show any difference in audio or in spectrum displayed on MUX output. |

Mode Extreme Hilbert was broken and also sounded very weird when using Sound card 2 input for RDS. Other modes seem to be fine here...
