This might become an alternative - if enough people go there. (If there are other alternatives please post them here).

They have changed (new lay-out) the forum a few weeks ago and now they stopped? That sounds strange to me.
Unfortunately one of the few forums where you could find the real radio people.

They changed the forum, gave it small type, a hard-to-read color scheme and loaded it full of ads.

You might have forgiven all the above, but it made the place run like a new bottle of ketchup (cue Carly Simon....). In the end, the new owner admitted they thought they had a platform to attract new advertisers... Us? Guess someone wasn't as smart as they thought they were.

Just saw this message on RadioInsight:

The people who made the original Radio-Info Engineering Board what it was are at http://broadcastengineering.info/. We’re going to be sending all the engineering traffic their way as they deserve it.

They fixed what wasn't broken. I'm sorry they are gone as everything was discussed there. The engineering forum is good, but only covers engineering.

A shame.

I'm curious if people will get back or not. Several alternative sites and a Facebook group popped up, but none of them (except the Facebook group) is as busy as this site once was.
