A preset was due for some time ever since I began working with an altered approach with AGC and Multiband sections. Quick Summary: The preset is largely intended for home listening, transcoding processed tracks and so on. I can not tout this as a Web Radio preset (yet) because of level difference across dense and dynamic tracks. The expense is intentional to achieve the effect(read spectral balance) I desired. For generic usage, the default MX12 preset should impress you. It's true to the original source with absolutely no coloration(could be good or bad to the end user) as perceived on my gear. Sound is exceptionally clean. Attachment:
Those who have a fetish for bass, can try out the Hyper Bass version. I can draw an analogy of this preset to Sony Walkman's Mega Bass effect.Attachment:
Feel free to do an A/B comparison with some other presets and let me know what you think of this attempt.[Created and tested using VST plugin beta 29 ver 6.22 hosted on J River Media Center 17] |

Very, very good preset. I'd like MX12, more natural and neutral sound. Excellent! |

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback. Glad you liked my work. @Jony: I was doing a comparison with other streams on AOL music and Armin Van Buuren's ASOT web cast. The radio preset MX20 sounds way better than them and has punch in it. @ Popaj: I will publish a minor update to the reference preset MX12 tonight which I tested on beta 32 VST. With that, I find very little or no difference in texture of the sound from the original track. |

" The radio preset MX20 sounds way better than them and has punch in it " That's true, i finaly left the Omnia6 and adopted this one for my main stream. Nice work |

And again that bass ringing caused but badly adjusted phase-rotator. Seems listening too much orban (ultra non-phase-linear processing) sound has big consequences. :p Preset is anyway not bad, soft Limit like this http://i.imgur.com/HCDLC.png but i guess that gives some characteristics, and ofcourse default settings for phase rotator. |
