Hi Hans
I just discovered that my code that protects against NANs probably doesn't work on older CPU's (it might even cause crashes by itself, I don't know). Older = Pentium 4 and the early Core2Duo's and possibly Core2Quads. What CPU do you have?ST9.03 Beta013 64Bit Stand Alone Windows 10 Pro 1803 ST903-B13-64b-SA_CPU_Change.JPG Occurred moving CPU level from 100% to 150% ST903-B13-64b-SA_Error2.JPG Came home to this error. ST running for around 30hrs continuously. Closing the window ST continued fine - and still is 2hrs later... Rossco I was using a feature that those CPU's don't have. |

It is a very good idea this project of microphone processing. Some people want a light sound in antenna processing, that's why it is necessary to process a minimum the voice. And, taking the example of many commercial radio in my country in France, even with a heavy antenna processing, voices are still processed with a micro processor. |

I test on a Intel Core i7-5960X CPU @ 3.00Ghz (8 core/16 logical processors) 64bit Windows 10 Pro with 32Gb RAM.Regards Rossco |

First, The BIMP isn't completely finished yet. Most importantly, we need to add something to turn it on or off (right now it's off if you don't use the SCA input, but that means that as soon as you enable SCA input for RDS, backup or SCA channels, it's also pushed into The BIMP).When Bimp is used, do we need to turn off all in processing tab ? How to register license to Bimp and how much ? Regards Stef The BIMP is indeed a microphone processor (BIMP standard for Built-In Microphone Processor). There were several reasons for us to put it in:
For now, The BIMP is a pretty basic microphone processor (for example it doesn't have a "boss" microphone mode which mutes the other microphone(s) if the host of the program is talking, and you can only have 2 microphone inputs) but stuff like that will probably be added in the near future. To answer your questions: 1. No need to turn the rest of the processing off - it's designed to work together with the normal chain! 2. Registering isn't possible yet, because it's not finished yet. |
