Thanks for fixing the post-AGC offset!

Some findings related to the post-AGC:
  1. Threshold and knee are labeled 'Speeds' instead of 'Levels'.
  2. The threshold range is now roughly -3 dB to +25 dB. That's probably not so useful considering it to be relative to the AGC level.
  3. Default Attack and release times are still the same as in older versions though they should be lower considering the decrease in speed for the digital compressor (only if the speed was actually decreased, of course).
EDIT: The digital post-AGC wasn't fixed and is still faster than all the other compressors.
Waveform display can be set to 10 sec here. If I do so it gets stuck only when it is shown on the lower left with a standard ST window. If I maximize the ST window or click the arrows to display the waveform at the right side it works just fine.

Since I sometimes write to the ST.ini file directly (yeah, I shouldn't do that), do you mind giving the post-AGC threshold conversion factor?

Post-AGC limit threshold conversion = 32768.
The other problems (except for the 10 second display) are fixed now (next beta).

Any hope of new style limiter and gate display in old digital mode?

Also, Hans, you're still showing "oil" related things in a couple places you probably mean to remove. I've noticed them on the Attack and Release tabs, but it's probably worth you having a look, too.

Thanks for fixing, will test the new beta when available.

That was true before applying the 9 dB shift. Now it's about 32768/11600 but the denominator is inaccurate.

Not now. I'm actually not really sure if there's any reason to make any improvements to the old digital mode, since analog mode seems to be much better...

Then the very old multiband (10 bands) it`s time to go , right ? Too much multibands now ?!

That has been deprecated for a long time. Only there for old presets. And until now, it had the lowest CPU load, but the new MB uses less than that one.

Hans - when StereoTool is first turned on, the gains of gated multiband compressors default to full scale gain reduction. That's sort of nuts. You should make a guess as some sane amount of gain reduction (perhaps based on the drive setting to that MB section), and then fix the gains of all bands there until the gate finally releases.
