Found it; the file tags library (used for copying ID3 tag data) was trying to use zlib. Now we've removed that, hopefully that won't cause any issues.

Hello,
is it possible to get 10.53 beta compiled for Linux (x64) ?

We have the idea to test a lot of things with dante.

The mac version still is completely broken and unuseable, as posted here:

I know people running the latest betas just fine on mac. More detail?
Are you using a plugin? What's the host? Have you tried another plugin version? Another host?

edit: Ah i see from another thread, it's Adobe Audition giving you trouble. I know Hans sometimes uses Audition on Windows for measurements. I wonder if he's touched the mac version.

Basstardizer only works with True bass on in Beta 031

Like I said, the last working version for Mac seems to be 9.22 from 2.5 years ago, 2022/10/22, which is extremely troubling. I think most people just gave up trying.

Or are simply not using Audition for Mac? As I said, they have it working for other VST hosts on Mac.

I'll be sure to prod Hans and Tom about this specific issue after they launch the next release they're preparing.

If your system is compromised by a virus, you'll be the one to fix it I guess.
