Question.
I burned some tracks - processed with Stereo Tool, FM Loud Bass Boost Europe preset with Loudness set to 4.00 - on a CD and listened to it in my car.
My impression is that the highs are too loud, and the sound lacks some 'warmth'. This might be due to the settings in this preset - the sound IS clean and there are no pumping or other effects when loud highs are present.
Also, I just received an email with the following text: "The sound of version did not please me 5.0 Many
high-frequencies sssss and sharps shi shi."
Any feedback on this? I was thinking about lowering the highest few bands in the equalizer in the multiband compressor (probably with 'before multiband' enabled to keep the same peak level, but reduce in-between levels). Maybe only the highest band.
Maybe something else wrong Hans.
Your cables. You need to take a look at this
http://www.monstercable.com/productdisplay.asp?pin=4605
What this cable will do 'Monster XPHP uses Time Correct windings for more accurate transfer of the signal as it travels down the wire. This results in extended high and low frequency response, improved imaging, and deep, tight bass. A Special LPE (Linear Polyethylene) dielectric insulation reduces signal loss for greater overall clarity in the music'
Maybe you should replace the cables with this type!
