Can you send me your full settings (the .ini file)? It's in C:\Users\<username>\dsp_stereo_tool.ini . I found the place where it crashes but I have no idea why, I hope that it will crash here too with your settings. It doesn't look like a compiler issue like the other crashes that were reported, but it's still nearly the only thing that was changed....

Note: The release_ss exception was caused by the other one.

I sent you the ini, but I get this error after sending No route found for "GET /ucp.php" (from "ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&action=quotepost&p=48847")

Debian 9 Stretch, ST 8.40 not correctly connecting to Jack. ST 8.23 also tested, this does connect correctly. Perhaps this can also be fixed. ST 8.40 shows in top at 100% cpu but also not displaying.

Is that the _jack binary or the normal (ALSA) binary? Because the ALSA binary talks to Jack via PortAudio, the _jack has native support. They *should* both work but the ALSA-binary is completely new.

jack binary, we only use jack no soundcards on streaming nodes, mobo off in BIOS

I got a message that my server was over quota (and a lot too, without any warning before, no idea how that is possible). I accidentally removed a few too many files when I was cleaning up disk space. Anyway, the latest beta is from over 2 weeks ago by now so it's getting time for a new one anyway.
