yes..
Problem was also highs was making "volume hole" at part of mids and that is even more noticable (audible)!
Highs still makes holes in bass, and it must make, because otherwise distortion on highs will occure!

If you don't want any bass "volume hole" caused by highs, set "always clip bass bellow" -3dB to -5dB (also depend on composite limiter position) and "Bass lowering Sensitivity" to 0.

@ Hans

When I write you a PM, would you prefer that I write it in (my fantasy) English or would it be ok (better ?) that I write it in German ?

We could also try that you answer in Dutch (if I write in German), because I guess that I can understand (at least written) Dutch (not every word, but almost 90 % of it) based on the historic relatedness to Low German.

@michi95:

So just go ahead...

Hello,

you want to know why i always use this song? it's very simple, because it has S-Sounds and hithats.

here can you hear the part in the original version:

original.ogg

In the Original Version there aren't holes and it sounds ok.

the settings i use in the loudness section can you see in the attachment.

i am not shure if i save the preset if all new settings are already saved correctly therefore the image.

hans: do you have an idea why i get only in this part this hole?

Hmm thats quite interesting. I now turned of the Compressor and used only the loudness Part. Now the hole is gone

I am sorry for that...

I am using a pre-amp of 40 db. then i use the settings you see in the attachment in the compressor.

I'm really very sorry

To be honest, I haven't found any real necessity for this suppression of sibilances for playing processed music or for streaming online. For FM folks, it perfectly makes sense.
In fact, I've found using this new filter for just normal music playback, takes off the sheen and places where it's desirable for the sibilances to sustain sound are scraped off.

So long (as Bojcha stated in his post) the MB is calibrated to be as close as possible to the original source, I don't see any reason why I would need this for normal listening to processed music.

LOL.
So, go ahead with your answers (in het Engels) !
It would not be that complicated if Columbus had not (re-)discovered America in 1492.
IMO that was the coffin nail for the demise of the Hanseatic League.

Have you ever heard people speaking Low German ?
It is a dying language (like many people in northern Germany I understand it, but I cannot speak it).
So whenever I hear Dutch speaking people that reminds of Low German, because there are many similarities.
There are a lot differences in vocabulary, but the accentuation of Low German (Plattdüütsch !) is closer to Dutch than to modern High German.

I have a quick question about limit/compress slider in MB.
When slider is at limit MB works with peak levels. When is at compress work with RMS levels ? Is there any true in this ? Or maybe when is at compress works with peak levels ? Where is the truth ?
