I really love this preset. What I would like is some more opinions on it. Critiques, praise, complaints, etc. Please be brutal!

In latest StereoTool version is both final Web and FM version, so please check.

Also please elaborate on "some stereo sounds dissapearing"

Good morning!

Love the sound of this preset! For offline processing and more dynamic headroom, I made a few changes for personal use. When the original and the result of this setting is volume-matched, there is a major difference. The original just sounds flat, and the stereo image is collapsed.

Below are the list of changes made:

1. Changed MP3 to zero samples since not processing MP3, but may add some benefit
2. Maximum CPU usage on Restoration
3. Enabled Dequantizer and maxed all quality settings
4. Change pre-amplifier to -13.56dB (6dB+7.59dB) - this adds 6dB of additional headroom for dynamic range
5. Changed high-pass frequency from 25Hz to 15Hz, and Low-pass from 18,000Hz to 22,050Hz
6. Changed Advanced Clipper CPU strictness to 20 (maxed) and Medium Stop to 20 (maxed)

Just on a test of Britney Spears "Stronger" (ok, don't judge me :lol: ) Looking at the amplitude statistics the difference is pretty impressive...

Excellent preset, you have the same philosophy about sound processing like me, what I really appreciate. I even quit trying to make it better :D

But like I said, this web preset is excellent, I'm waiting to listen it on FM, but I have to wait a few months, new studio is ordered.
And all equipment is scattered all over the place now, meh.

Seems in the new Beta version the exciter is implemented, excited to tweak these (Truebass and the highs exciter)
