Fixed activation Sidechain EQ, a confusion of "checks", reported to the thread of the current beta version. SingleBand now works as limiter highs (> 5 KHz approx.), Better control of peaks. A little more punch in the bass, because now go directly to Clipper. Comments are welcome! ![]()

Several changes, same objective of sound. ![]() I changed the behavior of the 3 upper bands of MB, passed "Peak" (before RMS) and adjusted times, knee and levels, etc. Some minor adjustments to the AGC and Clipper driver, now Loudness should not vary too when no bass present. Adjusted the SB, for a shorter action, only peaks surplus MB. Small adjustments to BB. Crossover Slope. Well and I think nothing more ... ![]() Made with beta 55

Curious, why set the pre amp to +20db and Post to -.2 db? |

Setting the preamp higher handles very soft inputs. Setting post amp to something less than 0 helps make sure that the total output signal doesn't go above 0. That is more the case with presets that do not use Hard Limit.

Brain Thanks for answering. In my case, I use the Hard Limit which helps not exceed 0 dB and not generate unwanted cropping. Similarly, there is always the possibility of any uncontrolled peak and that is why I use about 0.25 dB of protection. ![]() |

I interpret that, Brian at no time related to the pre-amp output (but I mention it to the post-amp, which is correct). And with respect to the Pre-amp, is much more detailed what you say Bojcha, but with less detail Brain said the same. ![]() It's just a little clarification, and thank you both for giving explanations of the case. ![]() |
