i think i found a bug in the De-esser.

i moved the de-esser slider and now no matter what i do with it it sounds dull.

it sounds like when you turn on de-esser on full and you get dull sounds..but moving the slider does nothing with the sound .

( ill have to uninstall this new version and go back to last version till this it fixed...no biggi.)

DUB<^>STEP: I know, I mentioned this in one of the previous BETA's: De-esser is using the AGC implementation, and the new implementation is not suitable for de-essing.

Chris: I don't know yet. Currently just trying to get a consistent volume, maybe I'll even go back to the original type of processing if that's possible...

Watch closely the development of the program .. But my tests though not very bad but I do not understand where all this leads. In the program many, many settings, but their work is more harmful to the sound. I can not understand why all these sound enhancement. The powerful pumping ... Enlargement of the stereo. After all, the task processor for broadcasting just exactly and accurately transmit the signal. And all this decoration sound only hurts. Only the normal version which like many of my colleagues dsp_stereo_tool_installer_BETA601-018 It sounds much like the sound of Orban and Omnia, and at the desired setting and it sounds just fine .. Sincerely, Igor

I would say Much better, but i don't like now this faster up speed, agc sometimes has no enough range, and amplifys level too much fast more then it should for very low level sounds.
This with de-esser is bug.. when i restart dsp it working normal again.
There is something like bug for ITU too. sometimes if it's on and off again it's not off.

So you prefer the old upspeed behavior (slowing down near volume '1'), but with the new volume control - which means that indeed for soft sounds the AGC responds much slower than for loud sounds?

(I'll draw some images tonight to indicate what I mean by this rather vague statement)

Others seem to like this new behavior, so maybe I'll need to support both (but actually I hope to be able to combine them to get the best of both methods).

Something really not good in AGC. sometimes (when 2-band mode is used) with "keep band1 at band2 level" at 500%. 1st band is still not with 2nd band. Much lower!

Sorry, I had to update my new preset.
The low bass was larger than life.
So, if you have downloaded it, please delete v1.0 (or don't use it) and download the new version 2.0:
