Other AMD PC has good power OC-ed at 3.3GHz, but again not good at all.

I just used this process explorer, BA ASIO uses much more threads then ST. ST uses 8 and BA Asio 34 (processing process)

wait.. i have Laptop :D

Tested with version 31G. This is what i get when hitting RESET and then loading the preset i use for FM and then hitting RESTART a couple of times.
Could you try what happens if you set the FM buffer a bit higher? I'd like to know if the buffer is then _nearly empty_ or _nearly full_. (Based on what I see, your buffer size is 2 ASIO 'grains' - and after hitting RESET you get only 1. But is that actually '3' (ie. buffer is too far ahead) or '1' (buffer is lagging behind)? That should be visible when you make the buffer a few grains bigger... Thanks!

How much is one grain? The previous example is with granularity of 256 samples.
When i set the buffer to 2.8 ms the left half of the green balk stays filled.

This version solves startup issue from the previous version (31G). This MAY also have effects on the buffer filling (depending on the hardware that's used)!

About how much one grain is:
256 samples =
- 5.8 ms @ 44.1 kHz, 5.3 ms @ 48 kHz
or:
- 1.5 ms @ 176.4 kHz, 1.33 ms @ 192 kHz

Tested with version 31H after changing the buffer a couple of times i get this with 8,5 ms. So no flickering in the white part. And after a few seconds lots of clicks.

Ok, clear. Only I don't understand why you still get clicks. I suppose this is even without moving windows etc? The buffer seems to be full enough - even though it's not completely full.

Last question (and then I'm going to take some time to think): What happens when you have this situation (including clicks) and select Bypass mode?

Tested beta31H on my laptop same USB soundcard. MAYA44usb 48kHz
On my pc i can reach 1.7ms buffersize - no click - no nothing (soundcard samples 48)
Same test at my Laptop (Intel c2d 1.8GHz, all power savings are off).
Clicks always.. moving window-s around, copy files clicks more. At 512 latency mode i can't even go with buffer size under 40ms, sometimes it needs more. Like it cannot lock it and start processing. That's with Multicore ON. When it's OFF i can reach 2,9ms and much less clicks, but they are there.
Moving to 5,8ms. seem removes all clicks.

BA Asio: ~40% Cpu usage. both cores working
STbetas31 ~27% Cpu usage. one or other core working, no metter is 'multicore' on or off

In this situation i also get clicks when i don't move windows indeed. When i select bypass the clicks are gone. When deselected clicks are back.

Ok, one more then (sorry)... What happens if - instead of selecting BYPASS - you just turn a lot of processing steps off?
