How do I obtain BETA095?
Will BETA095 install like a new version of Stereo Tool that can be evaluated?
Will it import 9.92 presets, reasonably intact?
Can 9.92 and BETA095 exist on one PC, authorized for Pro level, and one version can be used at a time, using the sound card?
Would it be better to wait for official release?
Hi. So to obtain the latest betas, visit page 1 of this thread and grab the version you use. (Stand Alone, DSP, etc...)
You can install both at the same time without deauthorizing one. Just make sure to install the beta version in a different directory from the standard version, if using the Stand Alone. Or if using a plugin, name it something different than your current plugin (DLL, VST3, DSP).
Stereo Tool is intended to be fully backward compatible with existing presets, however this isn't always the case with betas. Especially when using something with a major overhaul like the new Adaptive Compressor. Like I mentioned a couple of posts back, it's best to rebuild the Multiband 1 if using the Adaptive Compressor for the moment.
Not sure I understand your question about the Sound Card. However, both versions can be authorized simultaneously for processing a single stream at a time.
Waiting for a final release is relative to your needs. If you run a station, it might be best to wait. But if you're a hobbyist, I can't see a reason not to dig in now. I like playing with the latest features as they come out, but I realize this isn't for everybody.
EDIT: @HVZ Ah okay, seeing Intellilimit now. Is this ready to be tested? I notice 096 was not posted to the main page. I was testing out the Limit/Clipper maximums when I realized it suddenly sounded very different from 095. Should I keep testing this one or wait til the front post is updated?
