"S" handling for Punch fixed (and probably slightly improved).
Again, PUNCH BASS CLIPPING ONLY WORKS IF YOU ENABLE 'STRICT'.

Winamp DSP plugin: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 510-58.exe
Stand alone version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 510-58.exe
VST version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 510-58.dll
VST version (No SSE2): http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 510-58.dll
Command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 510-58.exe
Linux command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... BETA510-58 (not available)
Linux GUI version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... BETA510-58 (not available)

Basically I'm now doing Loudness using 3 separate bands (bass, mids, highs - only if Punch is enabled).

Sorry

The thing is that the processing is currently changing almost daily. I could give you a diagram of the 'big' processing steps (actually I'll just type it below), but not really a detailed view.

High level view:

1. Lowpass filter if not phase linear
2. Noise gate
3. Stereo Boost
4. AGC
5. Multiband
6. Singleband
7. Phase rotation
8. Final Limiter
9. Loudness
10. Hard Limit
11. Addition of MPX signal, composite limiter.
Sorry about old reply, but I read an old article (http://www.masterdigital.com/24bit/mastering/radio.htm) other day and I'm curious, shouldn't phase rotator be between noise gate and stereo enhancer/booster? (or instead LPF and NG?)

Phase Rotation only affects the phases in the processing where I'm clipping (and NOT multiband, because the bands are too small). So it doesn't really matter where I put it.

There are some other reasons however to place it as late in the processing chain as possible. Which is why I placed it just before Final Limiter/Loudness/Hard Limit. (But moving it should have nearly no effect on the end result).

I noticed that i didn't had RDS, but it was turned on. Then i saw PI code was 0000. Is this not a valid code? Maybe you could make it so that you cannot put 0000 there. Or is it my tuner who cannot handle PI code of 0000 ? Tested with latest beta version.

Does it work with different codes? The PI code should not disable RDS (at least I don't think so).

Yes it works with different codes. I will test it later today with a different radio.

I've tested it on other radio's and on some radio's RDS is working and others it isn't. So it's probably the radio who can't handle pi code of 0000.

Can you look at this song: Eminem & Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie.

I'm using preset Bojcha's Balkan (Europe, Stereo). Bandpass filter 32 - 16000 Hz.
In the beginning of the song i get some light slissing sound.

At 1:39 and 2:57 the sound gets squashed because of the highs.

Both are ok with BBP from the competitor. I hope you can find something to improve this.

Haven't had time yet to check it (I'll check it tonight), but:
1. Are you using the latest BETA (58)? Lots of things have changed in the last few BETA's w.r.t. highs processing and squashing of lows; the latest version - at least to me - sounds better.
2. 'Allow louder highs' doesn't work properly, you need to set it a lot BELOW 0 to do anything at all for most presets. And that's basically a de-esser (I'll change the name later), which means it reduces very loud 'S' like (hiss) sounds.
