is it possible to have a DEMO of Center frequency - Band x=nnnnnn ???? pls...
It is quite simple:

1. You have to save first a preset with Beta 53,54,55,etc.
For example you load your favourite preset and save it (again !).
This is necessary to add this new lines automatically to the .sts:
"Center frequency - Band -1=43.06640625"
"Center frequency - Band 0=86.1328125"
etc.
(old internal defaults for multiband frequencies)
(when you press reset these old defaults will be applied)
(except highest default frequency Hans changed to 15K - instead of 16K)

2. Then you can open this (re-saved) preset for example with Notepad editor and edit these lines with your own frequencies and save it - but not as .txt, of course you have to save it as .sts.

3. Then load this edited .sts with Stereo Tool (Beta 53,54,55,etc.) and you will see the changed frequencies on the main GUI (multiband meters).

The display was wrong there - it has always been 15K

Beta55 - Punch is sligtly softer. My vote is beta54, but, seems beta55 is slightly cleaner.

I have one small request.
AGC2 after AGC1 (checkbox option or another same AGC after AGC1)
I know that we already tryed this but .. if i remember that was not AGC like this one.

There IS, big problem with sudden (louder) part of audio comes into AGC, and Down speed is at normal/slow, and again it's not so good to set AGC down speed very fast because of gain rush.

I think that just before "Encode Stereo" and "Encode RDS" 192 Khz is going to work.
(...)
That would indeed be the easiest solution. In the stand alone version, if you select 176.4 or 192 kHz, the first step is that it's downsampled to 44.1 or 48 kHz, then all the processing takes place, and at the location you mention the signal is upsampled again.

If you select 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz as input sample rate, the downsampling is of course skipped. But it's not possible on all sound cards to use different input and output sampling rates.

The only thing is that a x2, x4, x8, ... (44100 * 4 = 176400, 48000 * 4 = 192000) upsampling or downsampling is a lot easier than x4.353741496598639455782312951701 (= 192000 / 44100)... So I'll need some time to do this.
Input dowsampling is NOW or you say that this will be in the future whatever the Input sample rate is..?
Yes i agree for Stand alone ...but what we do with DSP , it`s really usefull . But deferent Sample rate is for StereoTool not for Sound card , only Output sample rate is for Sound card . Sample rates in software can be changed whatever you want But output must be only one. So i don`t see problem Upsampled signal to be strongly one , possible for all soundcars (say 192000) This is a default value of SR , My card is supporting different output SR because one time is 176400 one time is 192000 ... it`s changing , but can be fixed to one value and that`s it. But the BIG question is Can Stereo Tool work with different INPUT Sample rates ? especially DSP/VST , for Stand Alone it`s clear - there is manual menu to change it :)

Is this because the punch is too soft, or because the 'less clean' Punch sounds better?

If it's too soft, I can probably fix that by responding less rapidly to dropped bass levels.

If it's because higher bass frequencies are Punched stronger in BETA54, I guess I need to switch back to that version (regardless of the less clean sound).

After the release... Please post a request!

So BETA55 Punch is the best Punch so far - or at least not worse than the old Punch?
