For the much yes , not that much but it is noticeable .
So must be corrected .
I say that beta25 is enough of options for bas, highs , loudness... ect
So why don`t You correct that version without add any options and that`s it
I really mean that no need other options , these in beta25 are good and do their job correct exept that highs-bass that i explain before , but i`m right right? ... this is from HARD LIMIT ?

And sorry but in Latest version this problem is there ...........SEE
And highs-bass thing is more noticeable with default settings !!
As you can see the filter of 15Khz is not that strong in BBP , but in ST is very strong (no start and finish frequency)
I`m a friend of StereoTool so thatswhy i want to be the best because this BBP you see at first picture is very hard CPU load program , but ST is doing the same with MUCH MUCH lower CPU load
BBP : 70% CPU
ST: 25-29% CPU now i use VST ( foobar with DSP host to winamp ans ST is less than 25% - 17-20% )

Hi HvZ, I'm using Stereotool for two years, and test also the new beta's. And for the first time, I like the multiband very much with the Michi95's settings. It's increase the presence of the sound.

Would you continue to use these settings?

What Sample rate you use ? - Same happens here if I use 44.1 or 48kHz

I use Virtual cable with 192KHz sample rate to bring the MPX from foobar to MPX Tool

What is the level in your ST from FM panel ... x1.00 ?

yes, postamp is at 1.00, VAC to mpxtool.

And you already know tha with VAC in mpxtool that slider is at 0.708 (if input at mpxtool is 0.0dB)

No , slider at Fm panel must be at x1.00 for 0.0db level of music or single frequency to keep the ratio of music/pilot tone. Otherwise you have to set the level of pilot tone manually .Thats the thue. But Hans set it to 9% default and if in this panel level is at x1.00 (not 0.708) everything is right in MPXTool. Level of pilot is as you set in ST. x1.00 is like coefficient . Post amp and this level in "FM transmitter" panel must be at x1.00. Levels below x1.00 are for test purposes only like ...........If there are peaks in MPX signal , because at x1.00 you don`t see the peaks above 100% modulation.

whatever .. you have error with ST vs MpxTool and cause is not ST.

This is probably not very interesting for most people here, but I got an email from someone who was using my other plugin Tape Restore Live! to filter out FM stereo hiss when relaying an FM station (so FM station -> tuner -> transmitter). So by request, I've added the FM stereo hiss filter from Tape Restore Live! to Stereo Tool. It's in the Noise Gate window.

This filter ONLY works for FM Stereo hiss which disappears when you press the MONO button on a receiver, not for normal hiss.

Edit: There's a bug when switching to 512 sample delay mode; not all hiss is removed anymore.

- Set 'History' higher to let the filter respond slower to stereo hiss when it appears. (If there is no stereo hiss, this will better ensure that the filter does nothing if there are some 'false positives' in the FM stereo hiss detection).
- Smooth / Rough: Smooth means that the stereo hiss is constant and hiss-like (white noise). If you get a stereo hiss with squeeking tones in it, set it a bit (not too much!) closer to Rough.
- Reduce: Set higher to reduce more. If you set it higher you'll probably have less remaining artifacts.... But it could 'eat up' more of the actual sound.

I think this filter could be made much better, for now I just included the filter as I wrote it a few years ago for Tape Restore Live! But I think it's probably not too difficult to remove much of the remaining ringing-like sounds etc.
