Final Clip of freqs 0-350Hz:
Can you try to make it simple (for start): I just set Post-amp to 0.93 and playing those freqs only.. that's same as like final limit. That should be simle too make. (?) on slider "Then Rize to (static)"
Not on list ? :(

Adding a DC remover AFTER Stereo Tool won't work because if there IS an offset, the whole waveform will be shifted outside the -75 kHz/+75 kHz area.

What might be possible is to build a highpass filter into every Loudness step (there already IS a lowpass filter there).

But actually that shouldn't be needed either, if both the highpass filter and 'forcibly remove...' are enabled. Because Loudness can in that case never add more DC offset than what's already there. (Times the Loudness setting, that is).
Adding filters doesn't do jack ... if it is a hardware 'issue'.

That is actually what I am already doing. But 'Loudness' is a very tricky filter which sometimes does 'unexpected' things. (I might have a hunch though - will have to check it later)

Edit: I've analysed some waveforms that come out of this filter, and it looks like too loud bass peaks are caused by asynchronous bass waveforms....... (So they are too loud in one direction, and too soft in another). I can get rid of it by continuously repeating the Loudness filter over it (but that takes a lot of CPU time, each repetition reduces the spikes by half).

Edit: Building a version with MUCH stricter filtering now (costs a bit more CPU power, can be switched on or off.).

I thought to be very simple (for start). like separated "Post-Amp" for 0-300/350Hz, from 90 to 100%.. but let's see next B..

That wouldn't work, because:
1. I would have to run the entire Loudness twice, doubling the CPU load
2. Still, for the stuff above 300-350 Hz I would still need to include the lows, so the frequencies above 300-350 Hz would come out the same as now -> no advantage.

Note: I'm currently performing this tighter clipping on the frequencies upto 400-800 Hz, so that's probably a bit too much. But lets await the results first.

Added 'strict' switch in the Loudness filter (see the 'then rise to' slider on the right).

Winamp DSP plugin: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 510-51.exe
Stand alone version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 510-51.exe
VST version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 510-51.dll
VST version (No SSE2): http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 510-51.dll
Command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 510-51.exe
Linux command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... BETA510-51
Linux GUI version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... BETA510-51

Edit: Just thinking... This strict filter might also help against DC offsets!

Edit #2: If it's not working: Punch still breaks through the barriers! So if needed set the slider all the way to Clean.

One of good things.. :)

testing ...

edit: Very nice for now.. but seem freq selection doues not work .. it's fixed somewhere to 400-450Hz..
Highs vs. Lows actually change it (?)

Yeah it's now working on that 'highs vs lows' thing instead of only at the very lows. I guess I should change that... But at least the principle seems to work.

Hm, doesn't it work anymore then? It should be fixed now (no more artifacts)

Highs vs. Lows 400 ??? to 800??? as default??
Deepboost fixed on Beta51? its ok to make it ON?
