Oh yeah, I missed that magic slider
I just hope it does enough - you won't get a bass as dirty (including pre-ringing etc.) as in older versions anymore...

Here are the Linux versions for the latest BETA - and this time the GUI version should work without segmentation fault!

Highs Burst does not work properly in the new fine-grained filter, will be fixed asap.

Edit: Building update now. Difference is very small - but it's there.

Edit #2: Hm, there's another problem. The 'Allow louder highs' filter doesn't function properly anymore. This results in highs pushing down the lows - or even distorting. Set it near -40000 for good sound! I'll have to check what's going on here...

Edit #2A: Problem doesn't seem to bad as I thought - setting 'Account for highs' to 0% and 'Max highs burst strength' to 200% seems to fix most of it - without hurting the highs as reducing 'Allow louder highs' does. (But it doesn't fully fix it).

Edit #3: What I'm now doing for lows - protecting them against pre-ringing and too much distortion - I should probably also do for mids and highs. If that works I can completely remove the 'Allow louder highs' etc.

BETA48 compared to BETA47 you mean?

In that case:
1. I will restore the BETA47 processing
2. I will try to boost the difference in the processing a step further for increased clarity.

This is great! I just pushed the BETA48 filtering a bit further and I noticed that that also results in more voice vibrations. The good news here is that I can lower this effect a lot below the level of BETA47... And hence potentially get an interesting quality improvement, which increases clarity and reduces voice vibrations. Will check this tonight!
