At this picture you have Bass Boost ON.. even at "maximum bass clip level" 250% sinusoide will look bad and bass will sound bad, because it's overcliped.

- Added restart behavior on crashes (stand alone version only)
- Fixed crash in bass boost filter (reported by Chris)
- Bass with no other sounds goes to 100% again - maybe that should be slightly lower though (see previous post).

True, but it can be done - it's probably just a matter of configuration (which is what I meant when I said I want to add a slider for this).

Ok, this then?
Image

Only Bandpass (-340 Hz) and Loudness (x 4.00, everything at default settings) are used here.

Well.. yes :)..

but in bbp clip is better and sounds better. Loudness in ST.... Hard to explane .. when goes in similar clip sounds like "metal tank" and something is breathing in bass..

Evrey clip makes harmonics, after all, i think that astually it's not so easy to make it to sound good and to have clip in same time

Exactly, the right word : "metal tank". That typical suppressed reverberation in loud bass portion is something that kills the joy and makes ST a signature sound by itself. Lately I've been hearing to some of the streamcast of FM stations of New York, Los Angeles and BBC Radio 1(uses Omnia 6 FM). Few things I noticed, first they slightly roll off the high frequencies(I'm not talking about the attenuation due to low bitrate AAC stream) and that the stereo expansion is applied on the entire audio spectrum but the bass, and ofcourse bass is rock solid even if that means lowering the mids.
I compared the 'Essential Mix Clip of BBC Radio 1' and tried to reproduce something similar using ST. In my futile attempt I found, ST sound is very dense, but that's largely from highs. Omnia processed stream raises bass quicker than ST and then clip it at that 'right' moment.

Well I hope they are, because I don't really know what error you got it could be a crash (that should be fixed now), or a hangup (stereo tool becoming unresponsive) - that would not be fixed.
