i think 5.10 is ready

It is close no question about that.
I am still trying to find out why SAM has periodically problems which disappear when I turn ST off. Somehow my MY-SQL database for my music has an affect that I at the moment cannot explain or find a solution for. This has been happening since v5.00 was released. Either updating my MY-SQL or even doing a roll-back doesn't solve the problem.
I am using the settings that Bojcha once posted with some modifications which seems to work very well. I test each new
release (beta) with 3 songs (1) Santana - Bella (2) Armik - Pure Paradise (3) Desmond Foster - Number One.
I will relaunch my internet radio when I get my new system. Then I will be streaming with AAC+ @192kbps
win7 - 64 bit
cpu - 4x3.66
ram - 12gb
1. velocity raptor - 600gb
2. 2tb SATA II drive
Sound card not sure as I like to keep my current one Creative x-fi Elite Pro (PCI). Drivers will be needed for win7
My current system is win XP
3gb of ram
cpu - 3.2
my audio is setup to use the kernel from the sound card this way I am able to use all benefits from my sound card as well. I have to see how this will be affected in win7. I bought my Creative x-fi Elite pro in August 2005 and never had any issues or problems with it and thus would like to keep it for.with my new system. I converted all of my music into 24-bit 2 channel at 96KhZ for a better quality in audio, the only drawback is that the file sizes are fairly large when comparing to files size of an mp3. Having a 500mb RAM drive does help alot and with my new system I will have a 2gb RAM drive and dump everything into there..SAM etc including ST.
What is truly difficult with ST is a severe lack of documentation that can be used as a guideline in making the settings for ST for one's particular system and sound card...each system is different and thus does require specialized settings...The documentation will be an asset to have in getting the proper setting(s) certainly a PDF should be made available and a wiki also.
I will post my sts settings later
