I was, by far, really impressed with Leif's Slam/Clunk plugin. The snare's clunk sounds great, drum's slam sound good too.

I suspect that ST can do this too, with internal phase rotation, and other(?) filters (Because currently I need to insert this plugin into DSP chain before ST, thus making declipper to not work properly)

I'm not really that great with sound processing and I'm curious at how this actually work, a brief explanation. A sample sts file would also be nice. Thanks :)

Please try Phase Delay instead. There's an example video (with music) on YouTube.

True, however it will be really hard to find right settings to match Slam/Clunk plugin.

Ok, but the plugin also seems to do something to the hi-hats sound too. It sounds more radio-like, I mean like-- it enhances the mids of the hi-hats and create that longer-smashing hi-hats sound. Does that use a similar technique?

I haven't checked it, but if it does I would assume it does something similar to the highs. See the last 5 seconds of this video - that effect is WAY over the top though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvH0AAkQMnk

I made another one that comes close.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/r932y ... _Clunk.sts

if you like you can save the module "Phase Rotation" and import it in your sts file.
