Hi Hans..
I notice one thing in latest beta3a (maybe with erlier happens but i did;t try) ...
I put it on our transmitter (turned off stereoboost and highpass) blckoverlap=0) and if i put "left slope width" from 100 to 90% i get much higher FM output.
btw .. again.. cpu usage is much better on blckoverlap=0 .. and quality is far better. Maybe is needed some small tweaks but for now is very good.
First small tweak is coming up (building it right now), it turns out that the volume calculation (used for "clean/punch") was incorrect. That caused part of the lower bass level.
The bass protection filters also lower the bass level a bit, but that should (I need to check it!) only be if it was too loud in the first place.
The bass when not using "Block Overlap = 0" should be a bit better now.
If you touch the "slope width" or "overlap size" sliders with block overlap 0, very strange things may happen - the output may be higher but it will also contain HUGE peaks. Please leave them at their defaults!
(Note: I will eventually implement the "slope width" sliders as a means to further reduce the CPU load - but I'll do that when the rest is finished).
Edit: Build is still running and I have to go somewhere now. So the update will be posted later tonight. But I have some good news too: I think I just found a solution to convert the Stereo Boost filter to Overlap=0 mode...
