I did some more tests and now found that the analog compressor with peak mode = 50 gives almost the same amount of reduction as the digital one (both using peak compression and identical settings).
- Did the old digital compressor already use something like the new analog peak mode = 50 all the time?
- For the new analog compressor which peak mode value is closest to full wave rectification (probably = 1, correct?)?
- What's the difference in dB between the minimum and maximum analog peak mode value (seems to be about 4 dB?)?
