Hi All,

I have a well tuned sound for FM and at the moment I am working on removing a tiny bit of distortion before it hits the Advanced Clipper.

The distortion does not appear all the time and is only evident on some tracks, although it's not consistent - ie: I can't accurately predict distortion will appear on heavy bass or loud percussion tracks, however newer tracks are spotless (both FLAC and MP3).

Happy to hear some input from others doing similar.

What is the best way to capture the distortion ?

Hi All,

For anyone else experiencing a similar issue, I enabled Advanced Clipper -> Pre-Limiter @ 128 bands.

I was not sure this would help, however on tweaking I now consistently do not hear distortion which was occurring in the lower to mid bands.
