One more thing : Why when i turn ON the post DC filter .. something happens and the Advanced clipper "doing something" ?
This DC filter also "adds" ringing in the BAss ( i mean again test with a single frequency ). If possible , then this need to be fixed too.

What I really don't understand is why I have never noticed these issues with the old compiler. It's good that they occur now and get fixed, but I would really prefer to have some sort of mode in which all NAN's get turned into 0's automatically. Since I'm not interested in NAN's... I'm going to ask a question on the Intel forums about this...
Possibly a compiler directive or switch regarding denormals?

That would make sense, but I'm pretty sure that I set those correctly.

I think I'm going to release it now. There are still one or two people who are getting NAN outputs, but the software is handling those gracefully now (a few samples are made 0 when it happens and the audio continues normally afterwards). So the big effect that it had is gone. In fact, last week I got a notification from someone who had a similar problem in the released version 7.50 (which didn't have the graceful handling yet).

I've ran the code through Valgrind (a program that checks for a lot of errors) on a Linux system and it only found 2 minor things that I fixed, but which have no impact on these issues. Which also seems to confirm that what's happening isn't caused by any (potentially dangerous) memory usage bugs.

I'm running a build now, I did find a few things the last few days that I have fixed so I do need to check if the audio hasn't changed. If not, I'll make a public beta release tomorrow (due to the compiler change I will post it on the main site, but as a beta version for the next week or so until I'm sure that there are no serious problems with it).

Congrats! You've been working at this version for a long time and you've got a lot to show for it. I'm glad you let us all help out.

Just a short message to let you know that the build is still running but almost finished. I'm working on other things while performing the build, which slows things down a bit, and the fact that I'm using multiple pc's doesn't help either.

I can also announce a new feature in the next beta version: A filter that can remove constant sounds and reduce hiss that might be coming from your studio. Such as a 50 Hz hum, or a high pitched tone from a fan (as long as it's REALLY perfectly constant). Coming soon :)

Awesome beta releases! Is it just me, or are the default Natural Dynamics settings audibly punchier?

New feature might be useful for my old Dutch pirate station recordings from the 80s, those stations always had a lot of hiss and 50Hz hum
