I can tell you. When i wanted test that and to match loudness used..
- "Imagine Dragons - Radioactive" vs "Abba - Gimmie Gimmie"
- "Alex Gaudino - Im in love (vocal_edit)" vs "Deniece Williams - Let's hear it for the boy"
- etc

Goal to preserve loudness to be similar not only by measurement but also "on-ear". Also to maximally preserve original spectrum. It's hard ;)

Yes :) I think I will have to flick through the most of my collection :P Alternative, Chillout and so on :P

"Imagine Dragons - Radioactive" - this one is probably one of the most destroyed tracks in so many ways... I listened to this only once, with... disgust (even though I liked the music). Others would be nearly all Timbaland stuff (severly clipped)

Do you know album "Afraid of Sunlight" by Marillion? This one is actually very hard to process (piece of very good music, by the way).

Very nicely mixed track! Whoever did that, did a good job on the dynamics side. Marillion is at similar level of difficulty, but with more background noise and difficult poly/solo, middle/side transitions. And I used to have a big problem to make it sound good, processed.

Yes :) I always wonder why they didn't re-edit this one. I think they played it totally live during recording. It sounds like this even on remastered version. This CD is one of my favourites. There's another track called "Gazpacho" with similar glitches and "Beyond you" with very, very quiet intro in mono (I think there's no way to avoid waiting a lot for AGC to compensate if this one follows after a very loud track).

And here's another, this time very badly mixed that has very unpleasant sounds of guitars in the L-R. http://www27.zippyshare.com/v/86463527/file.html

I'm currently using the FM version of Unvail, turned down a couple of dB on the final drive.

I'm looking forward to hear the final version of unvail :geek: :geek: :D :D

Curious as to why the low pass filter is set so high at 18khz for the FM version. Just noticed it on the final build 7.51.
