Thank You Very Much Both of You.(But i still don't like how it sounds.....but that's my personal preference so no worries).

BETA007:

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 51-008.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 51-008.exe

TO DO:
- There's some weird sound audible when you enable 'DIFFERENCE' mode. Even if nothing happens. This means that the audio is somehow damaged. It's worse at lower latency settings. FIXED
- Make highs clipping level configurable. DONE
- Fix composite clipper mode. DONE
- Weird swooshy sound when clipping highs lower - why? Also in other freqs in ABDP.

CHANGES:
- See a few posts up. I've now added 2 sliders that can be used to reduce the effect when there's not clearly a tone present. Tones only reduces the effect when there isn't a single tone that clearly sticks out - basically it checks how loud the strongest band is vs. the total of all bands, and adjusts the effect based on the result of that calculation. Since there are almost always also other tones present, setting this too high will even reduce tones that do clearly stick out. Tones threshold can be used to turn the filter off completely if there isn't a single tone that clearly sticks out (it makes the slope of the Tones only effect steeper).

The limiter is still broken when using the composite clipper.

OLDER:
- Changed some things back to how they were in version 005 - Bojcha reported (and I confirmed) some weird artifacts in version 006. If you enable METHOD2 you get the 006 behavior, that's for my own tests and I will remove METHOD2 later.
- Added Smother filter. The higher you set it, the more it will ONLY affect the loudest sounds. If you have multiple loud tones (for example a bass and a loud voice), setting this very high might cause only one of the two to be effected - setting it very low will affect everything though.
- Added multiband pre-limiter/phase optimizer to the Advanced Clipper.
- Trying a different multiband limiter in the Advanced Clipper. This time without phase optimizer. I'm very curious which version you guys prefer!

Using lower limiting levels lowers the loudest sounds in the mix. Since bass is often the loudest sound it tends to reduce bass more than other sounds.

I may already mention this before but.

When i play with 33Hz input single frequency and the NEw multiband is ON , there is some ringing in the output .
When old Classic multiband is ON this ringing is NOT present ? Why is that and is there some way to use "banding" from old one and make it to the new one .
Also with the new MB if i set Bandpass to be Always phase linear then aprears one of those "clicking sounds" like in some song plays but only monitoring the very low band .

Why the old MB is so clear about the sound (single frequency in my case) ? Is there any good explanation for this ?
I can make records to see for what i`m talking about if interested.
There is something still weird in the two lowest bands ....when i use monitoring also see some strange behavour. The Old MB is not use that much CPU like the new one but is purely clear . How is that possible ? I just don`t get that behavour . There is some strange in the algorithm and i think it must be checked . Program now have the most good sound after all this versions, so it`s time this problem to be cleaned ?

Those artifacts depend on 3 things: Steepness and frequency of the filters and the amount of different in attenuation between the bands. If the first 2 bands do the same thing, there should normally not be any noticeable artifacts. If they are very different however, there might be.

New one : lowest steep , bands are 40, 100 Hz , difference is about 5-6 db and i see how the sinusoide is moving on the output scope. But even i use the "band coupling" ( i guess in this condition there is no difference) - the sinusoide still moving a little . But if in this condition i enable the lowest monitor - man the shaking is even bigger. That is why are my fears about the bass..
Flat tops are not helping too. Still unauthorized sounds added to the single 33 Hz freq.
In the Old MB bands are the default frequ`s and they are even closer - 43, 86 Hz , but no any moving/shaking of the signal.
Looks like this "shaking" is enough big problem that adds weird sound to the bass.
Something is causing a strange generation in the lowest band/bands . Like self-generating amplifier :)

P.S: I just tested with old MB without AGC , only the input amp + old MB - there is as little as possible shaking . Is the issue "amount of attenuating/decreasing" related too ?

Found a bug .
When enable the Normal output let`s say with "separate process" , and disable the FM output , then the drop down menu in Normal output is grayed out

BETA011:

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 51-011.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 51-011.exe
Windows VST 32 bit: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 51-011.dll

CHANGES:
- Compressor/limiters: Moved limiter before compressor. This slows down the attack speed when limiting occurs, which gives a more stable sound.
- Improved web interface. (Not yet finished).

TO DO:
- Improve web interface further.
- Fix MPX Power calculator
- Fix resetting of tilt calibration when loading a preset
- Add volume meters which show > 100% modulation for IBC demo :)
- Bug fix: Single-channel file in plugin version caused crashes when using the composite clipper.

I'm not sure that I fully understand the rationale behind this one. However, I do note that the multiband compressor *is* more stable. It's noticeable. Also, it could be my imagination, but it seems like I'm seeing more multiband limiting for equivalent settings than the previous beta. That would make sense if the limiters are truly placed in line before the compressors now.

I can't comment on how the new limiter structure in Advanced Clipper is performing because the other changes have modified the sound I was used to enough that it's tough to say right now. When the phase optimizer first went in, I thought it improved the sound of the clipper, but without it again, I don't notice that it's any worse. So perhaps it wasn't as important as I thought.

I have left the pre-limiter at 128 bands. I'm not sure if that's optimal or just default. That's another variable, I suppose.
