@nelson c: Ok clear... Without 'Synchronize to output', the sample rates of the 2 sound cards will never match exactly and at some point this will trigger a restart of the sound cards (so turn it on!) - that could very well happen after a week or so. I've been running a test here with continuous restarts of the Juli@ sound card and so far (6000 restarts) it's still running fine.

But you had a problem with restarting behavior in v7.43 because the buffer was set to 5 seconds and the watchdog timeout time was too short, and those restarts also cause ST to stop responding. So I really think it must have something to do with the restarting. Also, in the past, Bojcha has reported a hangup of the Juli@ sound card (which was not reproducible with any other sound card) when changing the buffer size - I fixed that by not restarting immediately after a previous restart which seemed to have solved that issue.

All of this points to a problem in the Juli@ sound card driver. Which might occur more often on your system than on mine.

Can you please tell me:
- which Juli@ driver version are you using
- which Windows version you're using

Ok did not know that.
Activare sync output and see what happens.
Another thing that I do not think I said these problems had appeared when activated the option "Reset output when there is a problem with the sound card." in version 7.42 (which is what I have now) this feature did not exist so this off.

In the past I had problems with the driver Julia:
The sound card was recognized that seconds after stereo tool open.
The solution was a scprit waiting a few seconds before starting ST. (When the system boots)
Also sometimes for no reason is no longer recognized the plate and had to reinstall the drivers.
Then update the drivers to version 1.17. which is the actual last and these problems disappeared.

I have a large buffer of 5 seconds because the pc also receives data from a meteorological station, I have 3 instances of open RadioBOSS, (from there comes the signal streaming air)
And these programs sometimes caused small cuts in the air by the use of the CPU.
Expand buffer to 5 seconds was the perfect solution.
It can play that radioboss streamign via VCL but I have no use to me for several reasons.

Hopefully find where the problem is.
Anyway, I know a little programming, so here I am thinking of building a small application to "listen Output Card" and restart if a siliencio StereoTool.
This will be more stable than a single process as ST works currently, and also let me quiet.
Could also add email notifications when a problem occurs, then I can take action on the matter.
PD:I have windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

@nelson c: Just got a BSOD on my (old!) 32 bit Vista test system after about 7000 restarts. Juli@ driver 1.07.

It has been running versions 7.40-7.42 since the beginning of this year without a single glitch. But these restarts succeeded in killing it... Which also points at a driver issue.
