And when I open Stereo Tool again, it runs for a few seconds, and then it closes itself and opens again. Not playing with this anymore, as Stereo Tool is processing the FM signal!
Do you still see this? My guess is that this was related also to a nonrecoverable VLC crash, and if so it should not happen anymore now. Btw - it should also display a crash message if it still happens; if so I would like to know what it is.
Yes, unfortunately it is still happening. Instead of trying to explain clearly, I have instead recorded a video of my screen (no fancy screen recording, just recorded my computer screen with my mobile phone. Don't mind the audio, just my wife watching tv in the background).
Here you can see, that when I crash ST with the TEST ERROR button, and press ok on the following popup, ST crashes and re-opens as it should. However, after 14 seconds, it crashes and re-opens again.
I also recorded the corresponding audio (from web stream, sound from Normal Output.) so you can hear what's going on, too.

Edit: The version installed is the updated 7.43 (no beta).

UPDATE: Even when "restart on crashes..." is disabled, Stereo Tool still closes and then re-opens itself (with audio dropping out for about a second), when I re-open the application after a crash.
This should not be possible at all - I've checked all the places where a restart is scheduled and they all demand that this setting is enabled. However, if it is disabled AFTER the crash occurs, ST will still restart. I have just changed that (a minute ago). If a crash occurs, again, I would like to know the exact message.
This happened when the Normal Output/VLC crash happened. Now, when the Normal Output/VLC crash has been fixed, I can of course not reproduce this error to explain more to you, sorry!
