Strange. It should never have needed that much - total latency at 512 was always around 15-17 ms.

By the way, at 1024 the audio quality is a lot better at slightly less than twice the latency (12 ms extra, total around 28).

Is the Natural Dynamics filter basically an exciter, or something very similar to it? Or is there more to it than that?

In the past year or so, the technique I use for restoring some dynamics to heavily compressed or brickwalled tracks is to use Stereo Tool's Declipper + BBE Harmonic Maximizer in a VST rack. The BBE Harmonic Maximizer (a Nomad Factory filter) is basically an exciter, it has a low end frequency select and level, and a high end frequency select and level.

It's something completely different. Basically, it increases the level of loud punchy sounds.

What is the typical lowest number the FM Sound Card buffer can run? In the past, I've had to keep it somewhere around .030 seconds...sometimes higher. Today I had it down to .005 (it broke up at .004) which has been unheard of until I noticed it today.

Yes but I think you understand what is my target, actually is no other way to get it better.
This would require a change band setting like crossover point style with constant steep.

- MB bands limiting display - Really difficult to fix (without increasing CPU load); it works fine without band coupling, and shows the actual reduction level if band coupling is used. So keeping it like this for now...
- Mac: VST: Child window support. Difficult... Maybe later!

- AGC behaves bad: Different speeds at different locations.

725-021 : Anyone else having problems with it not going back to the preset currently in use and/or the FM Output sound card needing to be enabled after a reboot?
