You have this running on the E8400/8500?

Oh well.... This, like the new multiband, is on hold until I can get a new system. Probably going to be an i3 Haswell or a FM2+ Kaveri (if performance is close).

I'm planning to rewrite ND from scratch soon. Currently it's an 18 (!) bands expander - that's just waaay too much. And the sharp filters (same as with the old multiband) cause some artifacts too.

Eagerly awaiting the re-write.
While for me even the current implementation sounds great when compared to not using the filter, I am sure if you say the re-write will sound better, the difference would be impeccable!

I can't find any male voice on track1 ?
track2 - exactly what i said.. i opened a bit too much upper mids so 'some' voices/instrumends (constant tone) came out bit louder. Actually this is problem for Natural dynamics.
Anyway.. i made some changes...
..
I actually quoted "Waiting" to exemplify how good Emma Hewitt's voice sounds.
The problem with male vocals is 2 pronged:
1. Lack of deep bass - Consider Josh Groban's rendering in Troy - "Remember Me". The singer has a baritone voice. The deep lows in his voice is missed in your preset.
2. As even Gpagliaroli would have noticed, highs are too much suppressed. This affects even non-vocal sounds. It gives the impression of the sound being less open. I can see in MB that the last band is clamping highs a lot. Consider listening to tracks of Marc Anthony , one other - Daniel Bedingfield - "If You Are Not The One..".

If could tweak the preset considering above two points, you would create a gem!

Changed some things.. Hard to make ND and MB to not fight each other. :)
