The Idea behind this preset: it "eats" everything, does "not" damage anything and does the "best" out of it, regardless if it's something from the 70s or current CHR-content. Typical Preset for Public Radio stations. It's not super loud and dense, but loud enough not to fall apart from the mayor stations. This represents my imagination of a nice sounding station very well :)

Created with the latest beta and MPX-Clipper on. SSB can of course be turned on, too. When MPX-Clipper is not used, maybe you'll get a little loss in high-end, but it should work, too ;)
The BS412-Version is calibrated and ready to use "as it is".

Sample here and here (demod).

O. So BS412 works with the composite clipper? (I have no idea, I haven't tested or looked at the code yet.. lol..)

Yes, and the added openess is noticeable, although it is necessary to lower the Input amplification a tiny little bit.

I'm still working on a better version of this preset, which uses RMS detection for multiband instead of Peak, to get a more less-damaging sound. I should have something in a few days, if you want to add it to the new release...

OK, here it is.

As said, uses RMS detection for multiband, to retain a better feeling for the original dynamics and trade-off - just like on one famous BREAKing processor ;)

The updated versie needs a lot more CPU power. Declipper is still deactivated, but can be switched on if your CPU can handle it. Although I think it doesn't make much sense yet, until Hans will add a multiband dynamic expander after declipping, like the O9 has.

Update!

- Fine-tuned multiband
- Re-tuned de-esser
- Added tiny little bass boost
- Added de-clipper (can be switched off if desired)

See first post for Sample and the STS-files!

After some editing it's very suitable for streaming for stations that want to retain open sound, but, I *think* that the mids drop on very dynamic range (90s) music, when the composite clipper is off and the FM mode is off.
