Very exciting development!

Currently testing on an i3 2130.

Seems to be running on the edge but am able to run the composite clipping on by turning down the display refresh to 0%.

Quality at 100%, strictness at 12, stronger clipping at 25% and not moving the mouse too much! ;)

Looking forward to some multicore optimization!

Hmm, what are your thoughts on the level of potential contamination of the pilot tone etc. using the composite clipper?

Using peak hold while looking at the mpx seems to show some effects in the guardband(s)? Also appears present in the pics from radiofreak?

It is made like that intentionally to be just a little louder. It will probably not harm things. You can turn off Hard Limit and see the difference. But then you get overshoots.

Remember, back in the days, all analog stereo coders did some pilot modulation (about 3-6 %), and FM was working perfectly. ST does only a few 1/10 % pilot-modulation in the worst case. So, I think we shouldn't care about it ;)

As long as the pilot isn't being clipped, this will work in the USA. Haven't been able to test, yet. Anxious to do so.
