@hans, i will also test latest in a while and i will tell you more.!

So, after testing the second Beta, without phasing, i hear the vocals more constant but equally same and airy highs are not noticeable with my ears right now.!
With phasing on and your drawing, its a bit better diff on audio.
All the test are with the same preset.!

I will try this new beta. On newer rock material I do feel ST lacks a little airiness in the HF.

Some of my souce material I ran through perfect declipper last year. Having declipper ON when something
has already been run through the plugin causes hollow sounding artifacts. Thats my issue, obviously. :)

Will report back!

Question regarding the beta...relative noob question here.

The new beta got right up and running with the preset i was running on 7.1.

The about screen doesnt reflect beta or the build version. making sure im running
the correct version. i installed the newest version to a separate folder and launched
from the new folder.

That's correct, it's too much work to change all the version numbers every time.... If you started the correct file you should have the new beta.

I could be wrong (not being sarcastic this time, really I could be wrong), but I would think that there should be a way to set file version information in the compiler when doing the build, and use that version information to construct the text string in the about area.

Something like:

txtAbout = "SA Stereo Tool version " + fileVersion + " (" + curMonthYear + ") " + ...

I like the HF sound of this beta. A little more airiness would be splendid.

Beats BBP hands down....competes solidly with an Omnia11 in my vicinity.

eldoradofm ... please do a simple test for me .
Start the ST Stand alone and do a input from a virtual cable ( use AudioWave ) or any other gen that have a white noise.
After that go to Input panel on Sound cards and look at input scope while Switching on / off the Synchronize option..... and please say if there is a difference in the scope showing the signal when Synchro is on and off.

There is a difference because of resampling i think. I see a little more spikes in the input scopes and meters when Synchronize to output is turned on. Also it depends on your source sample rate. If you set sample rate in ST to 48 kHz and you input white noise with 44.1 kHz samplerate i also see more spikes in scope.

Let me know.
Nope, i think that's not what Orban fans wants. or this sohuld meke some 'other' effect?
Since you have access to orban units.. for start play 60Hz squere sound, and see how's output scope looks.
