What do the new double graphs for the bands mean?
Ah, if you enable 'flat frequency response', the thinner lines show based on which signal the volume is modified.

Among others, you'll see now that all those bands reach the same maximum level and have less of a drop at the crossovers.

The new Version sounds great, but i have in Preview Mode some strange soundings. if i don't use the new multiband then i don't get this behaviour. i have a latency of 2048 and this effects still occurs. It sounds like a repetition of some bands. it only happens in preview mode... When I activate the "burst protection", the effect gets even worse

Preview Mode is used in Adobe Audition to preview Effects, before applying them. In that mode you can change the settings of the effect and can hear the changes. in processing mode these settings are applied to the audio file. here is a quote of the audition help:
Code:
Apply individual effects in Edit View
1 In the Main panel, select the desired audio.
2 From any submenu in the Effects menu, choose an effect.
3 Click the Preview button, and then edit settings as needed. As you edit settings, watch the Levels panel to optimize amplitude.
4 To compare original audio to processed audio, select and deselect the Bypass option.
5 When you’re ready to apply the changes, click OK
I have only Problems with the new MB in these Mode. If i apply the settings all is correct.

I thought you would mean something like that.. But Stereo Tool is unaware of this mode, so this is really very strange.

AGC: Problem in BETA044 fixed - it used only 1 band in the output there!
The change corrected the problem with the Classic multiband. Technically, it made the output very slightly softer, like 0.05 - 0.10 dB softer than previous betas.

I think the volume burst release speed multiplier still has its uses in preventing hole-punching in case the burst protection reacts to false-positives.

Hans great job on the new MB, just 15 days away and changed a lot ...
Look-Ahead would be welcome, with a delay between 1 and 3 msg even better. ;)

@Hans:
I think you are missing the MB control for the "link" or "coupling" between bands (do not know if I missed something in these days on this topic) :)
