The 9th band (22 kHz) seems to be broken (noise), 8th band works fine with the same settings.
New multiband seems to sound a bit more natural but also softer with less punch. But I guess this can be changed with some tweaking of the settings.

As far as i can hear on my works laptop, it has good sound, will be making a preset this evening.

- What is the CH slider ? (is this band couple ?)
Channel separation. Adjustable per band, not sure if that's needed. (But I have that question for more parameters, I just put everything in there that might be useful).

- Normaly you can 'ease' the sound by using the "HOLD" parameters, at this moment it doens't do much, so i could be the hold times are a litle to less. (should be longer perhaps) ?
It should do that... But maybe the values are incorrect, the values currently mean that at that moment the hold is *completely* gone, and it moves gradually. So at half the release time the release speed is half of the set speed etc.

- What does STEEP do ?
Determines how steep the filters between bands are. Bojcha already asked if this can be set per band - that might indeed be a good idea; changing the value has a lot of effect on the audio.

- Is there a reason for the four collored band VU meters ? do the collors have meanings ?
No. Same as in all other compressor meters.... Just Bojcha's skin.

Ik ga wel even naar de optocht kijken maar verder niks...

new multiband bands are 9 ?!!? is it purposely ?
test it now, but it`s large window with little boxes and no space for text :)
so what is FB ?Frequency band ? boost ? or may be Force band ?

My opinion : hold must be rised more above 1000 , why ?
Because when i set the drive to a big numbers hold is almost gone , it`s like it not exist even gating is at the top 12.04 . Old versions gating was to 21 ? Why new is only to 12 ?
This is for now.

Seems to work fine here - but if you use more than 5 bands you really need to adjust the frequencies to get something useful out of it.

I hear that too, not sure yet how to compensate for it. With more bands this effect seems to be less.

It's configurable, maximum is 9 because that's the maximum that fits in the window. ;)

Yea. I'll have to either remove some settings or split them. For this first version I've build in every setting that might be relevant.

Feedback!

Works same as in the new singleband compressor.... And you're comparing values with the AGC. (And +21 is insanely high, I should probably shrink that range for the AGC as well).

Ok understand it all..
But why don`t you separate the window with the bands like the old multiband ?
Only this big window so it will fit the whole 10 bands.
Other settings will be at the main window of the new multi. The old multiband is structured very well visually indeed. Keep this structure for the new multi too.
The classic multi is good at this position now.Or it may be in a separate main menu item too. This is a kind of decision .
I like the idea to leave the two multibands together , so user to decide what version to use ( old or new ) .
Only auto disable the one that is enabled before the last enabled is a good option ( i mean not to allow process both of them ).

edit: I still say that attack settings and the hold must be more then 1000 , may be to 5000. It`s more flexible.

So, if i assume correct :

CH= same L and R band behavior ? (band compressor behavior follows eachother regardless different input levels)
Optimod has something alike and they call it DELTA. (In my thoughts it is not per band ajustable but i could be wrong)

About the multiband drive, don't forget the multiband makes the sound consistent (the same) so you should have quite some drive else the sound could varry to much.
In the bigboxes, a multiband drive from (about) 0-30db is used, normal setting is around 15db for consistend sound.

Sorry, seems to have to do with the 'old' presets: do factory reset, choose 'Same but reduced noise' ('Constant volume, increase stereo' still does nothing as I already reported), disable old multiband, enable new multiband, set bands to 9 -> noise
I guess these things are unimportant at present time though since you said to add new presets anyway.

On my system, the 9th band has a loud buzz if you select DET: Smart Peak.
