Lock mouse cursor should make possible to tune sliders even if you 'in-real' go outsite of window, and make moving slider still possible.. which is still not happening.

edit:
Just saw that on "hold" it works (with some buggy movement) and non-hold sliding is not working at all.

"same place" is other half of the window?

@Bojcha: Without hold, you just get normal slider behavior including mouse movements - going outside the window means that you stop dragging the slider. With hold, the mouse is hidden and the slider should exactly follow your movements. Do you see something else?

So you intentionally wanted like that - to 'hide' only for 'hold'?

I thought it's simple as...
on slider mouseclick = lock+hide
on mouse release = unlock + unhide

I've also seen a few hangups today. Am working on some other features for Technicolor, will get back to mouse & gui in a few days I expect.

So far I've been unable to reproduce this in the latest version. Which OS are you using? And how often does it happen? Do you know exactly what you did? (Just clicking, or dragging normally, or dragging slowly with hidden mouse)?

The only thing I have seen is that when you just start the program and start dragging for the first time, the mouse pointer is replaced by a small dot (this is intentional, see below) which is hardly visible, and on release the mouse cursor appears where the small dot has been moved to.

Why this is intentional: In some cases, locking the mouse isn't possible - instead something restores the mouse to its 'actual' position and reports back to the program that uses it that the mouse has been moved a lot. This happens when running inside VMware, and possibly also in other situations. To detect if there is a problem with mouse cursor control, I put the mouse (invisible) at the other (top or bottom) half of the window, and restore it when the mouse button is released. If something interferes with mouse placement, such as VMware, I can detect it because the mouse will suddenly be back at its previous location (wrong half of the window), and in that case I stop making the mouse invisible and locking it; instead I display the small dot and let it behave as it normally would.

So far I'm also unable to reproduce the hangup I reported yesterday... If you see a hangup, please let me know what you were doing. I saw one when - directly after startup - the window was small so it didn't display any scopes; I increased the vertical size a bit and it became unresponsive. Tried that a lot of times today but so far no hangup...

I usually have hangup when sliding with hold (hiden mouse). Whole PC act like 101% CPU usage.
All was On Full FM preset.

I don`t know , but this is happening in a very unexpected moment after update to latest beta.
I slide and click over the slider/sliders quickly and this is happen very rarely somehow.
to this moment ( for two days ) it happened only two times .
That`s it for now , I never see a hangs except that with loading a preset, but gone .
I use Windows XP SP2
May be Bojcha have problems because he use Win 7?!

Is this really a hangup? ST doesn't respond anymore and doesn't come back? Because all the hangups so far were with no (extra) CPU load at all... I have to admit that I didn't look when I got one 2 days ago...
