you CAN still change the skin, just make sure that the correct image is placed in the active directory and it will overrule the built-in image.
good..
--------------

Some things are still not working, some things are there and can be removed, and other things are there but not user frendly..

What i would change:

- I would try to remove some things, mostly because space, look and usage.
MB: Freq sliders: Not needed, anyway that should be some fixed values (Calculated) - especially that new MB will/should look and work differently. Also will make space for already hard-to-adjust sliders! In old gui atleas we had keybord tuning, better even if some values under 0.00000 was not visable. new one is much harder to adjust.
EQ and soft Limit sliders are kinda ok.
Up and down speeds - Totally anti-user friendly. I would add another decimal at end and remove one at begining. Also limit from current max 1.00000 to 0.10000. Maybe even to remove first 2 decimals and add 2 more at end. Then max would be 0.01000 (current value). Also for even more horisontal space i would remove meters from there too!
up/down speed lock still not working.
Maybe even split EQ sliders in separate manu (?).

- Levels. Important thing. I don't see any input and output level meter? Even no in "Levels" settings! Also important to be always visible. Idk now wher to put that, it should be at bottom with other meters (?)

- Bypass, Also need to be always visible. I guess it would be good quick solution to put it in reset-load-save-preset bar.(?)

- Soundcard settings. Too much separate menu settings. All can be smaller and to fit in few sections.

- Noise Removal. On main menu we should already have On/Off and diff button for both filters. Also something is swapped in menu there (fm hiss and Noise gate).

- Output scope always at 0dB.

Cosmetics.
- Menu, buttons, headers... I would go with more slim design. I done quick example for main menu. - http://i.imgur.com/C7j7M.png- Also for buttons.

- Font should be changed. Standard look, white with black shadow and black with white shadow.

- Meters (AGC and MB). I would there go with one main color. Green or blue, for example. clipeprs, for example, red.

- Missing in/out meters and other meters

Will try to edit all images and uplaod pack tomorrow.
That's it for now. - there is probably more.

something to improve:
in the menu when you select an option (eg "multiband"), are left to see the other options and this is very cumbersome and confusing.

Thanks!

In XP 2nd AGC works just good.
3rd AGC - yes it`s not clean the white.
Bass boost - yes not displayed correct
RadioText - in start position of ST is correct but when you go inside some menu or just you wait some time , the text again is smashed ( goes bla bla bla china text if i can said that )

Also Icon in the taskbar ( when minimized ) no Input/Output level meters , just MB indicators work.

MPX graph:
Image
- I think it needs some "weighting" while measurement. Just a few milliseconds. Now it looks fast.
- I would also go for full color (same blue) and 'Tops" 1px lighter-blue or white.

First, the new MB will be very different from the current one, and will get a completely new interface too.
I'm not really sure about the MB freq sliders - you WERE changing them so it does make sense to have them in the interface as well.
The up/down scale needs to change (that should help a lot), I'll also add more digits.
Up/down lock: I know...
EQ in separate menu: I could do that, but wouldn't it make it MORE difficult to adjust?
The display bars are there because they are not always displayed at the bottom and because you want to see them combined with the sliders so you can see which belongs to which... :(

Yeah, I don't really know yet where to put them. I prefer seeing volume sliders horizontally, but then it would take a lot of (already sparse) vertical space. Alternatively I could put them on the left of the bottom bar, vertically...

Agreed, I've been playing with the interface yesterday and I really missed having quick access to it. I've placed it in the presets bar, it looks really ugly... Might be fixed when there's a new layout (I think the current buttons with a LED at the bottom aren't such a good idea anyway).

Hm, I thought the current separation into pages is logical... What would you suggest?

Makes sense, extremely easy to add. FIXED

I noticed it, I guess I'm collecting the data at the wrong place (before multiplication with output level). FIXED

Yes - but that's something for when the interface is ready.

True, I need to implement something to be able to draw a different font (current font is something I made when I was 14 or 15...)

Not sure about that. Actually I could also make this skinnable as well. But I'll look into that when everything else is in place.

in/out see above. Which others? (I know I miss Noise gate and Dynamics Boost)

I know, but what would you suggest? If I display all the menu options there's not enough space! I was thinking about putting things on top of each other (so you still see the 1st character of the other things in the menu), but that might look very crowded.

It's the time that's displayed twice (2nd time over the RadioText) for some reason, I still have to check why.

I know, was already mentioned in the todo list.

Hans, you took the words right out of my mouth !
Though I guess that Bojcha believes that the new different parameter (more traditional) definition for the new MB make any CF modifications obsolete.
On the other hand I am still confused about the MBCF controversy (based on the old MB structure !).

Bojcha, is it correct that you prefer to have a fixed structure of seven bands ?

Or would it be better to have an option to use even less bands with some presets (similiar to Breakaway 5-bands, 7-bands presets) ?
IMO if the new MB will have an option to define the number of bands there must be also user adjustable CFs.

Can make a scroll between options, or perhaps an arrow indicating that you can go back.

Not exactly. Fixed (calculated) 4-7 bands.
i said that because 2 reasons. 1st is that it will be more place for other sliders.
2nd. After many testings with bands, whatever you do to them and however you set them, in simple words, you are getting actually nothing.
Ofcourse it can be still adjustable via sts.
