Screen update CPU load reduced further (more is possible, but I'll do that later if needed).
Now going to add switching bottom part of screen, then presets. --> Both are partially working now. You can select a preset but it looks ugly and I found a bug in the pull-down menu where sometimes the last value is cut off. Switching between displays works but the button is placed at a weird spot.

Known issues at this moment:
- Last value of enum sometimes cut off.
- When scrolling with enum scroll bar, if the mouse moves off the scroll bar it starts to select things immediately. It should keep scrolling.
- Mouse wheel doesn't do anything yet. ?
- Recently loaded presets not available.
File load error (mixup due to threading)
- Switching between screens: Button at wrong position.

Can DSP users provide input towards the "if needed" determination?

Sure... I'm just guessing that it will probably be needed. But we'll see.

Either you deftly dodged the request for a DSP build, or you didn't realize that's what I was asking for... ;)

New build:
http://www.stereotool.com/download/633-013J.zip

For DSP users: There IS a DSP version included in this! It's called "dsp_rt4.dll". The dll will search for the images in the active directory - at least in Winamp it seems to work if you start Winamp manually (in a DOS box) from the directory with the images... (I'll soon make a change to include the images in the executable and DLL files, so I can stop using zip files with lots of images).

Edit: Oops, this version contains logging, which causes it to crash in Windows 7 (probably also in Vista). Rebuilding a version without logging now...
Edit: Solved. Please re-download.

Again very small Complex signal window why ? May be the solution for this indocator is something like previous but "able to disable it" with checkbox or button ?
May be in AGC indicators something is wrong in the main window.
I thing that CPU will go crazy through these betas till code is optimized ..... :)
Refresh rate of the right sound indicator in main window is about twice lower than the left ? Or may be just slowing down sometimes ?

Default sample rate is 32 kHz when i press reset and go to factory setting.
Also default latency is 512 instead of 4096.
I've searched everywhere to find something to change meters at last i found it.
Can you add something that when you click longer on the display that it changes from meters to scope?
And / or when you right click on it that it changes. Or change the button in something else, like a little image of meters and/or little image of scoop.

There is something wrong about these displays anyway .
You must urgently think about that , where to be those displays and what type to be .
AGC and other bugs are fixable , this is not the point . We must advice and help you to decide where and what displays to put on the ST.
I think that old type of display is the best you can add without processing to much .. Yeah the display in the FM menu is good . I talk about the main display ( think that double display is not that good) . We must decide/advice you to the best option for ST ( now RT - radio tool). Still right scope is lower speed than the left.
Of you want we all can discuss this.

And yeah I almost forgot to propose:
Add some meter for all the complex signal ( deviation) in % with some scale in the main window .

@eldoradofm: There was a bug in the handling of default values for pull-down menu's that caused weird behavior for some. Solved.
Meter-switching will change, basically it's there now and it works (that was the first part), I still need to make it FAR more logical.

@dj_doggy: What's the difference between the old and new type of display? New is in DB's (which is what most people want) and vertical instead of horizontal (although some things were already vertical in the old interface). Double display is indeed not good, the left display needs to be replaced by input data - for now it's basically a placeholder. That also causes the lower refresh rate on the right: The interface only draws things when something changes - if I draw the same thing twice the 2nd time it's usually not changed hence not redrawn.
