It is VERY hard to make web page (even one element) to look good in all Browsers/Operating Systems/Devices and combination of those 3. For example, i am testing web player that should work in every browser, with or without flash, but i saw very big differences, for example, Opera Browser. It plays well in Opera Mobile for android, but not in Opera Mini in same android device and also does not play in Opera for windows, while all other browsers for PC, even IE7 plays fine.
Chrome for android, for example, plays well but auto-play does not work... etc..
I hope Hans will make it look good in all browsers.

Opera's client identification has always been non-trivial. It, by default, gets itself identified as Opera. Not many web-pages are written having validation for Opera as a client browser. If I recall correct, last when I used (ver 10.x), Opera had this option to identify itself as a browser of Mozilla family or as an IE version 7/8. Not sure about now.

As far as anomalies while rendering of HTML DOM / Javascript is concerned, it should be taken care of by using UI/Javascript framework. I did not observe any difference in rendering of dynamic web-pages while using ExtJS/YUI/DoJo or even the light weight jQuery across browsers.

Things are starting to behave more similar now in different browsers. IE is still different (but not as bad as earlier, there's only a problem with the horizontal placement of the sliders). FireFox also has an issue with that, but different... :(

The good news: Sliders work in all the browsers that I have tested (IE 9, FireFox 3, FireFox 14, Chrome).

More consistent behavior in different browsers (IE is very bad, background images are not scaled... Chrome and FF look good).
Sliders should work in all browsers now.
Made background black, added images to checkboxes (not yet to other items).
Too long texts are no longer wrapping.

Display of checkboxes is ok, but behavior not yet (you have to click just below the black/green light, instead of anywhere in the button).
Sliders work, have ugly background image.
Other buttons are not displayed properly (wrong locations etc.)

- Sometimes on/off buttons does not work, mostly not. - Actualy i need to find right spot to turn it off or on.
- Why pictures are around 240+KB?
- Does all pictures need to be on stereotool site? I think all need to be already in software.

1 - true, here's a very small area.where it works
2 - because I don't know yet how big they need to be in the end. Will reside them later.
3 - also for later. This is easier for now.

I've been playing with CSS code tonight, and now I have the checkboxes looking and behaving good and 100% identical in IE, FF and Chrome (haven't tested others yet). I managed to do this by not using specific features that are not supported by all browsers.

Now I understand <div style> settings much better than before, so I expect to be able to make the rest work good as well.

Edit: Slider now also ok (there were some small differences before) in all browsers.
Edit: Int slider, pull-down menu's and text input fields are also good and equal in all browsers. Building an update...
