Update:
- Replaced long list of presets by categories. I have some doubts about the usability and readability (I think I need to increase the font size a bit), so comments are welcome. (About the looks: I will change the colors and make sure that the currently active preset is displayed in a different color, and probably also in the Presets button if the Presets pull-down menu is closed).

Some notes:
- Looks are not ok yet (mainly colors)
- I know that when music is playing, the display is flickering. Will be solved.
- Reset / Load / Save buttons have been moved because they were interfering with the pull-down menu display. They will be replaced by my own buttons which don't have this problem.

... and there is left PreAmp and Post amp .. you can color them ?

btw if you want, you can short a bit in and out VU meters and give them a name "in" and "out", or something.

i was tarry to tell this but the new look have some visual problems, if i can say like that.

Example: if you run ST and move other windows in front of it e.g. Firefox and keep for some time when you minimize Firefox ST looks something like this:



and i need to minimize ST or move the ST window outside screen and beck.
i don't know ... may be it's about graphic card mine is ATi X1900XT.
but it happen on other PCs.

Hi Hans,
It is much better now with the new presets by categories rather than the long list, I also think you need to increase the font size a little bit to get smooth and clear text, may be with a different color per category. I still like Bojcha waveform colors, very attractive, it would be nice to use the same waveform colors when you are going to release the new version - I am sure Bojcha will permit.

A very good work Bojcha, i think you are an artist !!

Update:
- Increased font size, changed colors.
- Solved the "screen is empty after another window was on top of it" problem.
- Uncoupled screen redraws from processing, this might improve the performance a bit. (Updates should now get disabled on a single CPU system when the CPU load nears 100%, and on a multi CPU system a different CPU should be used for redraws - if the CPU load is high).

my testing - ST Standalone - last betas:
today i mount a new pc for testing ST. it's Intel c2d E5200 OCed @ 3GHz. For now ST is on AMD 5200+ DualCore @2.7GHz, and first i notice is how this two CPUs worjs so different with ST.
ST on AMD works on one core and with preset FM Europe soft, cpu goes around 85%.
Intel is much diferent. ST works on both cores. sometimes one core higher sometimes lower but work on eboth cores. And on this intel cpu is around 35-40% with same preset....
